‘Very happy to be here’ – Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly confirms he won’t quit Man United

The World Favourite Player and Manchester United Star, Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed that he won’t quit the club, insisting he is happy to be at Old Trafford as he  ready for the new boss Erik ten Hag.

The Former Juventus Player and Portugal international return to Premier League club last summer.

The club had a disappointing season as they were able to finish sixth on the league table.

In an interview with the club, Ronaldo said: ‘I was happy of course to be back at a club that really raised my career. So it was unbelievable.

‘The feeling when I (came) back again, it was nice to feel the supporters. The happiness of them as great.

‘I was – and still am – very happy to be here.’

Ronaldo finished United’s top scorer in the Premier League after netting 18 times as the Red Devils missed out on Champions League football but he claimed he was still motivated for the new campaign.

The forward also he believes United will return to ‘where they belong’.

He wished the former Ajax boss well ahead of his tenure at Old Trafford but warned fans they must give Ten Hag time to implement changes.

Ronaldo said: ‘I know he [Ten Hag] did a fantastic job for Ajax and that he’s an experienced coach. But we need to give him time and things need to change – the way he wants.

‘I hope we have success of course. Because if you have success, all of Manchester are going to have success as well.
