Nigerian runner, Tobi Amusan has established another standard.
She did this on Thursday as she won the ladies’ 100 meters obstacles at the Precious stone Association last in Zurich.
The World and Region Games 100m obstacles champion and record holder completed in 12.29s in the race on Thursday, September 8.
The Nigerian had won the Precious stone Association prize last year in 12.42 seconds.
American Tia Jones came in second in 12.40s while Britany Anderson of Jamaica ran 12.42s to complete third.
Back in August, she won the gold decoration in the ladies’ 100m obstacles at the 2022 Ward Games (CWG) in Birmingham.
A month sooner, at the World Athletic Title, Amusan broke the obstacles record in the semi-finals in 12.12s.
The 25-year-old likewise turned into the main Nigerian to win a gold decoration at the title with a vivacious presentation in Eugene, Oregon.
Amusan is the sole Nigerian to be delegated African, Republic, and Title holder around the same time.
